Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Manage financials of an entity that provides services (engineering, training, and consulting) to related entities in Asia Pacific region.
Responsible for the overall financial management matters, including financial reporting, financial planning, month-end closing, administration, treasury and taxation.
Ensure statutory compliance in accordance with Malaysian laws and regulations.
Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgets, expenditure, accounting, administration, cost control etc.
Develop and maintain solid internal control systems.
Liaise with lawyers, auditors, tax consultants, company secretary, bankers and relevant local authorities.
Administration of payroll function.

Job Requirement

Bachelor degree in Finance & Accounting or other related disciplines (preferable qualified CPA) with a minimum of 7 years related experience.
Sound accounting experience and ability to work independently and maintain a full set of accounts (full accounting cycle).
Prior work experience in multinational companies and being able to work with senior executives in cross-cultural context.
Good understanding of corporate law, accounting rules and tax regulations of Malaysia.
Accuracy and attention to details and good communication skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
