Germany's 50 best canteens were searched for and PERI was able to prevail over more than 200 other applicants by winning 3rd place in the category "up to 750 meals (daily)". A jury evaluated, amongst other things, the quality and regional nature of the food, service and experience, responsibility, health and sustainability.
A canteen for everyone
The PERI canteen is a place for meeting and communication. Across all hierarchical levels, employees from administration and production meet at lunchtime. The open and bright architecture, for which the daughter of the company founder, Nathalie Schwörer, was responsible as an architect and project manager, as well as the clear counter concept with the fresh preparation of the meals directly in front of the employees and personal service convinced the jury as well as the "holistic implementation in the areas of enjoyment, health and responsibility". Also unique is the direct insight into the kitchen area and the culinary variety with regional products which the top chefs from the PERI Caterer Consortium conjure up on the plates of PERI employees every day.
