Bavarian Family Entrepreneur Prize 2019 in the category innovation goes to PERI

The association "Die Familienunternehmer" has awarded the Bavarian Family Entrepreneur Prize for the eighth time. With this award, the association honors the commitment of family businesses to their respective regions. In 2019, PERI received the award as Bavarian family enterprise of the year in the category innovation.

The chairwoman of the jury, Dr. Eva Vesterling, chairwoman of the supervisory board of Vesterling AG, justified the decision: "The unbeatable mixture of innovative strength, high-quality products and customer proximity have made PERI one of the world's leading manufacturers of formwork and scaffolding systems. PERI's vision of the future construction industry is unparalleled and will produce new, more cost-effective types of construction with the help of digitisation. The rapid growth of the family business, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, shows the need for groundbreaking construction concepts".

Alexander Schwoerer accepted the award for PERI at the ceremony in the “Deutsches Museum” in Munich: "The entire PERI team is delighted with this award.
