The Cochrane Station, is one of the SBK Line’s underground stations will take commuters to the most vibrant parts of Kuala Lumpur, while enjoying world-class metro facilities that will not only be functional, but also aesthetic in design.
All seven underground stations will be constructed using the cut-and-cover method. For those in the Kenny Hill Formation, construction will follow the top down process while those in Kuala Lumpur karst limestone are designed for bottom-up sequence.
Requirements
- to provide a complete solution starting with design, calculation, method statement for installation, logistics and an instructor on site to ensure the installation ran smoothly.
- to provide an access for installation of cladding on ceiling and walls as the space below the working area was fully occupied by escalators.
