The re-gasification terminal (known as RGT-2) is part of Malaysia's development plan to secure stable natural gas supply for the nearby refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID), Pengerang Co-generation Plan (PCP) and also to the Peninsular Gas Utilization (PGU) Grid. This LNG Tank will have the capacity of 5 million tons per annual and two 200,000 cubmic meter LNG storage tank
Requirements
- to withstand the pressure from within (outer tank diameter of 89.40m and the overall pouring heigh of 4.5m) when completed.
- to be completed by April 2018.
