SKY PARK RESIDENCE, Bratislava, Slovakia

The large-scale project, SKY PARK, is the new cultural epicentre of Bratislava – in addition to customised scaffolding solutions, PERI made use of the RCS rail climbing system in combination with VARIO GT 24 girder wall formwork during the erection of the residential complexes. The lower, 25-metre-high section of the scaffolding solution was erected using PERI UP Flex falsework, which impressed the customer with its high load-bearing capacity and flexibility.
Each VARIO panel was shifted up the side of the building together with an RCS platform in 50 cm strokes.

At the SKY PARK Residence, we have picked up on our previous experience with PERI facade scaffolding. The big challenge was the delivery and construction of a large amount of scaffolding, which at one moment climbed all three towers to almost 100 meters in combination with a complexity of ground plan shape and variable changing scaffolding when installing several types of ventilated facades. With its flexibility and complexity of services, PERI once again proved that we have chosen a reliable partner.

PERI solution

  • Collaboration between PERI Slovakia and PERI Czech Republic
  • Support for the construction of residential complexes incorporating a monolithic design, a reinforced concrete wall and column system and a ventilated façade
  • PERI scaffolding materials comprising a total area of 37,500 m² and a weight of 400 t were used 
  • Execution of the two-section façade construction using PERI UP Flex falsework and PERI UP Easy façade scaffolding
  • Scaffold stability ensured by RS push-pull props and UVR standards
  • TRIO formwork used to effectively form the bedplate, outer walls, ceiling slabs, stairs and lift shafts
  • Internal walls formed using MAXIMO that can be operated from one side
  • A customised climbing solution, which consisted of a combination of the RCS rail climbing system and the VARIO GT 24 girder wall formwork, made it possible to climb efficiently in 50 cm strokes

PERI systems in use
